Testing... Testing...

I know I am being redundant when I say, "we live in a society when we expect things immediately blah blah blah", but a few weeks ago I saw something that disturbed me a little. I was using a public restroom that had advertisements posted and there was one for a business called Any Lab Test Now. Services provided: Drugs, STD's, Paternity, etc.

Okay. I am no prude, but really... really?

Fast Forward to this past Friday. I was on my way to get an oil change and I thought there used to be a Subway in the Walmart plaza that was near the place I was going to get an oil change. Imagine my surprise when I realized that it was no longer a Subway, but an Any Lab Test Now - in the Walmart plaza, really...really?

Windy Wednesday

Brrrr - it is cold and there is a wind advisory. Yes I am obsessed about the weather, until it starts getting above 50, I think about it too much.

I am working on some new things for my Etsy shop (andreainpajamas.etsy.com). My "big seller" is the SoCal wallet, pictured on the left. It's my favorite style too. I originally tried to make it a "make as you order" item, but the pattern on the fabric is sooooo random, that it is hard to replicate the same look everytime.

I am almost finished with some clothespin bags. They are amusing to look at. I finally got to a point where I am not looking at my Etsy page 80 times a day to see if anybody is looking - I probably only look about 30 times now.

Good Morning

Not much excitement planned for today. I think it's supposed to be above 40, so that's good news.

Pre-Work

I always try to get up a little early before work. I need the extra time to "putz" if you will. I find that if I rush, then I just can't get moving the rest of the day.

Take right now for instance. I am not in any big hurry, so therefore I have the time to enjoy a cup of coffee and put this mundane little fact about myself online.

Day Two - Still Blogging

Okay, as of today I have been blogging every day since I started - ha ha. It reminds me of my birthday a couple of years ago when I said, "I'm going to take a picture everyday this year as kind of a journal of time." I think it lasted about 1 or two weeks. I probably took only about 20 pictures that year.

The picture I posted today is one that  I took from the hotel I stayed at last year in Austin, TX.  I was there exactly 1 year ago this week (I believe the photo is from an earlier stay to be honest) for work. It was a lot nicer than the 5 degrees it is today in Wisconsin.

That's all for now. Maybe I'll post tomorrow, maybe in August :)
