Although it was a cute story, I am just saying that I was not prepared to see a musical that had a puppet sex scene, nor did I ever think I would write those three words consecutively in a sentence.

A Night at the Theater
This past week I accepted an invitation to see the Tony Award winning "Avenue Q". I had seen and heard commercials on TV and the radio and there was a lot of hinting that there was a bit of adult humor. There was even a suggestion that audience members should be over the age of 16.

Cinco de Mayo posted on the Seis
Last night we met some friends for Cinco de Mayo, a holiday I am told that is only celebrated in a small area of Mexico, but by a lot of people here judging by the parking situation at the restaurant.
We went to Solea Mexican Grill and the food was delicious, but I would have to say the margaritas were even better. I used to really like strawberry margaritas, but now I think they are too sweet. Regular on the rocks is my pick. Solea has the best margaritas, but theirs are pink. I was told that they add a splash of wine - and that accounts for the unique flavor and pinkish color.

Ease of Use
This is a continuation of my previous post...
This image was also on the Yudu web site - and although the Yudu looks like an easy and user friendly machine, I just cringe at the fact that this man is using ink, a potentially messy art supply, while wearing his good clothes and without newspapers underneath the machine.
I am a grown woman, and I still cannot do anything that could potentially be messy in my good clothes - I must change into my "play clothes" (thanks mom).

Wish List
I really enjoy sewing, but back in college I took a couple of serigraphy (screen printing) classes and thought it was very fun. Every once in a while I think about how I can set up an area in my home to do it, but so far the logistics have not been in my favor - until now (I think).
Recently I saw an ad for the Yudu screen printing kit and it looked very cool, compact and user friendly. Last night when we were out running errands, I had to stop at Michael's (craft store) and they had a big display of them. I had to tell myself that if I get the 100000000000000000 other projects I have planned complete by the end of the year, that will be my 2010 New Year's gift to myself.
